Yay Queen Colbie

Many times in music we have someone make music that gets on your nerves, motivates you, forces you to see things differently, uplifts and many other things. I was doing my usual scroll on social media and saw Colbie Callait. I love her music. I love her sound. I love her singing personality. Then I listened and watched the video and give it all the stars possible. I love the diversity in the video, i love the message, I love it!. A lot of times we as women forget how beautiful we are naturally. Understanding that make-up is a decision we make but our first thought she always be these are beauty "enhancers" not beauty "makers". This video is the definition of #BeYou.
This means be who you are unapologetically. People will do what they can to make you feel inferior to them but, it is up to you to know your worth. I love it. All the women in the video are beautiful. This is a must listen and definitely will be added to my iTunes library. Bravo Queen Colbie!

BeYou

No matter what you do, do it your way. Express yourself and own it. Show your style, your pizzaz, your endless amounts of color and do it all with a smile and say "Yeah, I did that shit!"

BeYou

My style comes simply from self expression. I wear only what I believe is my style. I'm not one who hones in on trends, styles, or seasonal attire. I usually dress according to how I feel that day of the week. This country portrays to each individual that you have to dress and act accordingly, and I honestly think that's pure bullshit (excuse thee expression). One should feel free to have self expression and authority over whatever it is they want to do or have in this world. My clothing & appearance is how I express myself. My mother inspires me to dress and act how i feel regardless of the judgement given from others. Iv'e received all of my fashion sense and abilities from her. The reason I feel the need to express my personal beliefs through my fashion sense  is because I honestly want others to look at me and be inspired to do whatever they believe is politically correct. There is no "right" way to live, dress or act. Do what you feel in this world, hell you only live once, and chances are: there are a billion others that agree with you, you just have to be brave enough to live your life the way you want.

BeYou

As you know my name is Ra'Chell but I go by rocky, why not have such a crazy style with such a dope name??!! I love fashion and fashion loves me. My style has drastically changed throughout the years, but of course for the better. I'm honestly inspired by myself with fashion, mostly every morning I wake up and go off how I'm feeling for the day (this inspires my outfit!) My style became a source for me finding myself and understanding who I was. I would say its alittle vintage with a pop of craziness in it. Lol just adding some funky glasses or crazy shoes can make a look go from a 10 to a 50!! Life Inspires my fashion...once I got over how people felt..I let go and became fearless...!

My name is Darion De’Angelo Jordan, but everbody calls me D.Wu #madlove. I have a passion for fashion, cultures, and diversity, incorporating these aspects into my everyday work. If I were to describe my signature style, I would describe it as “the rugged clean-cut gentleman.” Now I’m not your average male that just loves to wear suits or just too scared to venture out.   I value being authentic in my everyday work,  being the trendsetter, and #makingithappen. I don’t mind patterns on patterns, I’ve had streaks of blonde and back to black, wingtips are my thing, and I believe pops of color and neutrality is necessary. I’m clean cut GQ with an edge! Button downs, rolled cuffs, dark denim, solid neutrals, pops of colors, and solid casuals are must haves. If there were three things that I would say everyone needs in their wardrobe I think every wardrobe calls for the bold, the print, and the neutral. From tops, bottoms, shoes, and accessories, each one of these three are necessary in every category. You need things to fit every occasion, whether that’s running to Barnes & Nobles or a coffee date at Starbucks, these items are must haves. Think about it; the bold is a pop of color, the print is a pattern, and the neutral is a blend.  Your #OOTD;  printed Aztec blue shorts #theprint, solid white v-neck #theneutral, and red and white low-top converse #thebold.  From simplistic, to the bold, and the print, these three are necessary in everyone’s wardrobe. I want to share something that I live by and remember daily. I leave you all with this….Trust your journey. No matter what decides to come into your life know that your book is already written. You’re the AUTHOR AND the ILLUSTRATOR. Your future is truly in your hands.  To all the Kings and Queens building their empire, seek guidance and remember to love what you do. #madlove

Be You- J

I started getting more into the clothes I put on back in 2003, when the Converse Weapons were back out and a lot of people were rocking them. From that point on, I started to actually pay attention to what I would put on because I began to get praised and it felt good for getting recognition for my style. I definitely let my style express who I am and how I feel. I dress distinctly from others because I’m truly an individual; don’t get me wrong, I don’t try to be different. If the next man is wearing something pretty fly and it represents something I’m about I won’t feel awkward wearing the same thing, I’ll just wear it my way. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have influences because I definitely have realized a few of them. I admire the fashion sense of Kid Cudi, Kanye West, Fabolous, and Jay-Z (Those guys never have a bad look to me). They’re trendsetters; however I don’t follow every trend that they set. You won’t see me wearing a kilt like Kanye and you won’t see me getting a perm or tattooing my hands like Kid Cudi or wearing Balmain Leather Shorts like he does. That’s another important thing about me, I may be very fashionable but I try to live within my means. I’m a college student; why would I be trying to buy Balmain? I don’t care if everyone is wearing it; I won’t be spending thousands on Givenchy. Like I said; I’m truly an individual, so brand names don’t impress me. I can wear Gucci Monday, Gap on Tuesday, and a friend’s brand on the weekend just to support. As long as it looks right on it and me represents my lifestyle, I’ll wear it the right way. I’ll wear it my way.

Be You-

My style comes from anything. If I'm looking threw a magazine, watching a movie, album covers, walking or just listing to music. I like simple but a elegant vision that tricks the eye. My inspiration would have to just be the culture behind the fashion world itself. It so many creative people in this world I couldn't just give all my glory to one person. The bum man on the street could inspire me to make or creative an outfit and it could be as simple as having his shoe strings untied. I feed off any and everything. i encourage my craft by making visuals people have to solve. I like my craft in a pandemonium outlook with simple understand at the same time (if that makes sense).

Style is Life. Fashion is never ending. Creativity Is Key.
