Senior Year of College at Mizzou

OMG! I am now a senior at the University of Missouri-Columbia. It has a been a loooong road but I am proud to say I will be graduating May 18th 2014! It does not frighten me but it does open my eyes so to speak. From freshmen year playing around and looking at basketball players, greeks, partying and not focusing on my grades and my grades plummeted because of it. Then having many life experiences to deal with outside of these Mizzou walls and gaining and losing my 2.5 year relationship and possibly losing friends. These four years have been a journey. I came into college as a Political Science Major and an English minor to now saying that I'm a double-major in Black Studies and Sports Management and a minor in Business will definitely tell you that these years have been some of the best years and experiences of my life. I have been a part of a fantastic organization (NAACP) and am now the president of my collegiate chapter and have beeen active on campus since my freshmen year. I have had strong parents and strong organizations to back me along this crazy road (Thanks College Bound!).  I have had some of the most phenomenal professors I could ever ask for and I am humbled and I can honestly say that I have grown. I will be proud to say that I'm an alumni and I thank God for all of my college experiences. Though I'm not done yet!
